Become a Volunteer!                                                                                                                                We encourage anyone who has a heart for our furry friends to call us up and volunteer.  We can always use some extra hands.  The work that needs to be done is not always at the shelter or working directly with the animals.  If you can spare some time to help us answer the phone, bathe dogs, pick up food from Wal- Mart or transport animals to or from the vet, please give us a call.

Please, call us if you have some spare time you would like to give. We are supported by donations from the public.  We need volunteers to help with transportation for our dogs and cats to rescue groups.  Most of these runs go from Graham to the Ft. Worth/Dallas area-sometimes Decatur or Denton.  If you are able to drive a dog or two occasionally, please give us a call or drop an email.  Your time would be greatly appreciated and you'll most definately be helping to save lives. We can also use foster homes.  If you have room in your home to house a dog or cat until a permanent home can be found--let us know. I'm sure we can find a furry friend that would fit your household.

Please send us an e-mail if you're interested in volunteering!

Our Spay/Neuter fund is always in need of donations.                                                      This fund allows us to help low-income families to spay or neuter their pets. We know that the only way we will ever stop the endless cycle of pet overpopulation is by spaying and neutering pet dogs and cats. Please support this fund! Since building our new facility we have not had the funding needed to keep the spay/neuter fund going. Please consider a donation in this area to help end the over population problem. Remember -- Every Litter Hurts.

We accept used ink-jet or laser printer cartridges and old cell phones.

We accept aluminum can donations.                                                                           We will arrange to pick up large quantities.
