Ultimutt Heroes
Ulitmutt Heroes is the new volunteer group for kids at HSYC! Join this group to learn how to help homeless animals in our area. Kids will join with others to help out at the shelter. Opportunities include: helping clean the animal housing areas, helping bathe and brush the animals, helping prepare and deliver enrichment to the animals, providing play and exercise and other jobs. The Ultimutt Heros group allows kids the opportunity to learn the importance of giving back to the community and the rewarding feeling of being part of something that benefits others.

Volunteers can help fill the day of our dogs and cats by giving them personal attention, walks and baths when staff may be busy with daily tasks.
